As contamination control is key in the Amine Process, within Pall, our Service support developed a dedicated procedure: we use as base line the ASTM D-5907 procedure, standard test methods for non filterable matter (Total Suspended Solids in water) for TSS measurement.

Based on the specific Amine fluid characteristics, we adjust the procedure to avoid positive interference by retention of dissolved matter: These adjustments mainly consist of using proper rinsing procedure with appropriate solvent for the amine solution.
