Elliott Group appoint Ronald Josefczyk VP of Global Manufacturing
Elliott Group announced today that Ronald Josefczyk has been appointed Vice President of Global Manufacturing, effective July 1, 2022. He succeeds Takanobu Miyaki who was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in March 2022.
Ron joined Elliott in 2006 as a Technical Service Engineer, specializing in compressors. Since then, he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility covering all of Elliott’s product lines, culminating in Director of Research and Development (2013 — 2018). As Director of R&D, Ron oversaw the design, planning and construction of a new R&D test facility, and was instrumental in the development of high flow small frame compressors and 130 MW class steam turbines. Prior to being named Vice President of Global Manufacturing, his most recent position was Director of Global Engineering.
“While expanding his career and knowledge base at Elliott, Ron has further developed our Engineering and R&D teams,” said Shane Reph, Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Elliott Group. “His drive for efficient practices, global standardization, and identifying technological advancements has helped him progress in his career and will positively support the fundamental goals of Elliott’s newly reorganized Global Manufacturing team.”
“Our customer needs are rapidly changing to meet shifting global market demands, and Elliott must be equally responsive to change,” said Ron. “The global integration of our engineering and manufacturing functions is vital to streamline our processes and implement best practices so that we may focus on advancing design and production methods. Leveraging the strengths of our global engineering and manufacturing organization, along with the capabilities of our parent company, Ebara Corporation, will ensure that Elliott continues to be a leading provider of turbomachinery equipment and services.”
Ron came to Elliott from General Electric CONMEC where he was a design engineer for bladed products. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In his new position, he is responsible for global manufacturing, global procurement, global engineering, and global technical services, reporting directly to COO Shane Reph.
