Rene Gonzalez appointed as Editor for PTQ and DigitalRefining

Rene Gonzalez has returned to PTQ as editor to continue the excellent work of Chris Cunningham over the past 13 years, ensuring PTQ provides the most relevant content, highlighting the latest developments in the global refining, gas and petrochemical processing industries. Rene will also contribute regularly to DigitalRefining.com and www.decarbonisationtechnology.com

Rene graduated in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and began his career in refinery operations. He has also written content relevant to biofuels production and intermittent energy sources, including solar, wind and microgrids. Rene said, “I see the industry increasing in relevance and complexity while demonstrating stewardship in sustainable clean fossil fuels and renewable fuels production, as well as petrochemicals production ranging from aromatics to olefins and polymers.”
