ERTC Advisory Board Report Released!

It has been a busy few weeks for us at the WRA as we began shaping the agenda for our flagship ERTC ​​​​​which will celebrate its 25th anniversary in Madrid.

The ERTC advisory board took place earlier this month and the big theme for 2021 is understanding how European refiners will implement the vital strategic and technological decisions to remain competitive in the energy mix. ERTC will explore this in greater depth in November by assessing the short-term issues of digitalisation, co-processing, optimisation and energy efficiency as well as looking at the long-term role of refining in industrial clusters, the use of CCUS and plastic recycling.

If you have not already submitted your abstract in our call for papers, it may give you the extra insight you need to align with what our executive refining network are looking for at the next ERTC.
