Becht and Code Inspection & Testing Co- IR Technologies (Code ITC-IR) have come together to bring comprehensive heater solutions to our clients worldwide. Becht has built a name for itself providing engineering solutions, plant services and software tools to over 90% of the refineries in the US & Canada and many internationally in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. Code ITC-IR has unique know-how on IR Imaging and Engineering Analysis to address high risk and operationally constrained fired heaters. Through the addition of Code ITC-IR, Becht can now provide integrated services including IR Imaging, Engineering Analysis and Health Assessment services to our clients fired heaters.
Derek Becht, Vice President of Plant Services said, “We are thrilled about the opportunities presented by our acquisition of Code ITC-IR. In combining field-based IR Imaging know-how and our engineering solutions, we are able to provide cradle to grave solutions for our clients fired equipment assets resulting in bottom line profit improvements and operational risk mitigation.”
Frank Liu, President of Code ITC-IR welcomes this opportunity to integrate IR imaging into the comprehensive service portfolios of Becht Engineering. He said, “For many years, we have been applying our IR monitoring technology with unsurpassed accuracy to pinpoint hot tube temperatures in critical heaters, but only for a small, exclusive group of customers because of our size. By joining Becht, our field proven heater troubleshooting and environmental skills will enable us to help boost the process unit capacities for a much wider client base in the refining and petrochemical industry.”
