RefComm® Galveston 2019
RefComm® Galveston takes place April 29 - May 3, 2019. This marks the 21st year for the conference, which has paved the way for implementing safety protocols, advanced technology, and best practices in the refinery.
RefComm enjoys the attendance and participation of many of the leading refineries and vendors in the U.S. and worldwide. Over the years, the conference has grown to include separate training and conference programs for the delayed coking and fluid catalytic cracking units. This year, the conference will also feature a technical conference program on resid hydrocracking, a unit that is gaining prominence for its ability to process heavier and diverse feed stocks.
The conference focuses on production goals, environmental regulations, revamps and equipment maintenance. The conference is highly unit specific, targeting operators, engineers, maintenance, and managers of these process units to discuss fine details of these processes in a way not possible in more broad conferences.
RefComm kicks off with two days of optional training for DCU and FCCU operators. There are approximately 12 training courses operators can choose from. The training is followed by the technical conference, which features nearly 50 presentations focusing on the topics that matter most to operators of DCU, FCU, and RHC units, as well as an exhibition hall with more than 100 vendor booths featuring the latest technologies.
The conference will take place at the Moody Gardens Hotel & Conference Center, located at 7 Hope Blvd. in Galveston, TX.
