Axens acquires a stake in Arol Energy

Axens has announced that it has taken an equity interest in the French company Arol Energy, an expert in biogas purification systems.

Arol Energy has many years of experience in the development and implementation of innovative technologies providing a high level of performance, longevity and economic advantages to its bio-methane-producing customers.

This partnership will enable Arol Energy to speed up its growth in France and abroad by capitalizing on the first facilities that have been successfully commissioned and taking advantage of the stated ambition to quickly boost bio-methane’s share in natural gas consumption in France.

Arol Energy’s ambition is to become a reference player in the biogas purification field with a range of technological, service and support offers with operational performances at bio-methane production sites.
With its experience in the field of gas processing, modular unit construction and the removal of impurities using special adsorbents, Axens will support Arol Energy in its will to bring innovations in terms of products and services to the biogas market.

This shareholding rounds out Axens’ portfolio in the field of sustainable raw materials processing for energy and renewable products, thus bolstering its ambition to be a major player in energy transition.
