DWC Innovations awarded revamp project at Jamnagar refinery

DWC Innovations is pleased to announce that it has been awarded Dividing Wall Column (DWC) project for revamping two distillation columns at the SEZ Refinery at Jamnagar, India. The scope of the project includes basic engineering package for a Depentanizer column and a Reformate Splitter column to be retrofitted with DWC Prime technology to upgrade the petrochemical naphtha product.

Manish Bhargava, Director of DWC Innovations, “This is an innovative DWC revamp project at Jamnagar. RIL already has two operational DWC columns at Jamnagar. Following recent successes, refiners are gradually warming up to the idea of revamping existing columns using DWC technology for debottlenecking purposes”.
