Toyo Engineering and Irkutsk Oil to cooperate on ethylene plant

On September 10, 2018 at the Eastern Economic Forum being held at Vladivostok, Russia, Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO) and Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) exchanged the signed Agreement for Cooperation regarding construction of the gas chemical complex, aiming to reduce the negative impact on the environment and rational use of associated petroleum gas.

According to the signed agreement, TOYO will be fully cooperating with INK on the project in terms of construction of the ethylene plant to be built near Ust-Kut, in the Irkutsk region, Eastern Siberia, using as a feedstock associated petroleum gas currently being flared out at the INK’s oil fields.
