Metso announce four new distributors in Brazil
Metso has signed four new distribution agreements for its valve products in Brazil. The new distributors - Loopserv, ERC, MLDA and S.S. Negócios Mercantis - reinforce Metso's presence in Brazil's important process industry hubs, covering the northeast and south of the country.
"These distributors are well-recognized and meet all the criteria we have set for members of our distributor channel. We look forward to reaching both our existing and new customers with each of them, supporting our local experts and service centers," says Fabiano Baciuk, Metso's regional sales manager for Flow Control in Brazil.
Together, the distributors cover several process industries, such as petrochemical, bioenergy, pulp and paper, refining, chemical, and grain processing. Each has a different focus in a specific industry in Brazil, reinforcing Metso's presence in areas with high demand for flow control solutions. The agreements were signed in 2017.
"Our focus is on the petrochemical industry, but we will definitely provide Metso's offering to all our customers in different industries where reliable flow control solutions are needed," says Ever Rodrigues Lucas, CEO of Loopserv.
"Metso is a well-known company with high-quality valve products and technology. It is valued by our customers and potential new customers, so this agreement provides new business opportunities for both Metso and us," says Mário Luzio Andrade, co-owner of MLDA.
Distribution channel expansion calls for recognized partners
Developing the distribution channel globally is one of the most important strategic growth initiatives of Metso's Flow Control business. By partnering with top distributors, Metso improves its presence in the traditional core areas, as well as in new markets, to serve its customers better.
