Gastech revolutionises attending experience with new business matchmaking programme

A new feature at the Gastech Conference & Exhibition this year, the Global Meetings Programme is a complimentary business matchmaking service for all registered attendees.

With a full 4 day agenda from 27 to 30 October 2015, the Gastech Conference & Exhibition will gather over 20,000 industry professionals in Singapore. Multiple programme features and networking functions will take place simultaneously in the Singapore EXPO and across Singapore, and attendees may find it challenging to locate the right business contacts and find time to meet with each other.

To enhance the attendee experience and to assist them in finding other participants specific to personal business requirements, Gastech has launched a complimentary service – the Global Meetings Programme.

The pre-event service will allow attendees to use their business criteria to specify what their business objectives at Gastech are, allowing all attendees to search, connect and pre-arrange meetings with each other.

By booking meetings through this service, attendees will receive a personal schedule of their confirmed meetings before they attend the event. At the exhibition, attendees will be greeted by a member of the team to personally introduce them to their business matches. A number of private tables will be available within a quiet meeting area at the event; depending on availability, attendees will be able reserve these private tables to hold their meetings.

Since its launch, pre-registered attendees have taken advantage of this new complimentary system and have already started to arrange over 200 meetings.

Thousands of industry professionals from companies involved in the natural gas and LNG value chain, and its related industry sectors, including Fluor, Technip, Chevron, Marubeni, BW Shipping, ExxonMobil, Höegh LNG, Saipem, Gasconsult, Wood Group Mustang, Burmi Armada, JGC Corporation, ENN Group, Keppel Shipyard, Sakhalin Energy Investment, Cheniere Energy, among some, have already confirmed their attendance and started to use the service.

Gastech Conference & Exhibition is hosted by BG Group. The event is also supported by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) Singapore, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau (SECB), and will be held in association with the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW).
