GE Oil & Gas signs long-term service agreement with ADGAS to strengthen plant productivity
GE Oil & Gas has announced a long-term service agreement with ADGAS, the Abu Dhabi-based regional pioneer in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production, to further strengthen plant productivity and maximize reliability and efficiency of its plant in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the agreement, GE Oil & Gas will support the full maintenance, including supply of parts, repair & services and the provision of a resident team, for GE Frame 5 2D gas turbines as well as associated centrifugal compressors. GE Oil & Gas will also provide training for a number of ADGAS engineers that will further build local capabilities.
Mr. Fahim Kazim, ADGAS CEO, said: “We are committed to further enhance our capabilities to achieve operational excellence and to increase our productivity goals. The long-term service agreement with GE Oil & Gas is a step in the right direction and will contribute in our journey of excellence and also strengthen and fast track the development of UAE expertise.”
