Sugar Patel appointed as sales director, Merichem Gas technologies

Merichem Company announced today that Mr. Sagar Patel has joined the company as Sales Director for the Merichem Gas Technologies business unit reporting to Mr. Dennis J. Bellville, Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Patel’s responsibilities include the global leadership for all Sales and Business Development activities in support of the LO-CAT hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal technology.

Prior to joining Merichem, Mr. Patel held key sales and sales leadership roles at UOP, ABB, Invensys and Yokogawa. Most recently, he acted as National sales director for Yokogawa (USA) and made significant contributions to business growth since 2010.

Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
