Alfa Laval Group wins SEK55M petrochemical order in South Korea

Alfa Laval Group – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to one of the biggest phosphoric acid plants in the world to be built in the Middle East. The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 55 million and deliveries are scheduled for 2015.

The compact heat exchangers will be used in the production of phosphoric acid, an important ingredient in phosphate fertilizers.

“The petrochemical sector in the Middle East has grown significantly over the past ten years, and this order confirms our position as a trustworthy supplier of equipment to an industry with very high demands,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
