Yulin 1 million t/y continuous reforming project kicked off

A 1 million t/y continuous reforming project viability study of Yulin Refinery, Yanchang Petroleum Group, has recently been approved and formally kicked off, according to the report by Chen Jijun and An Dongdong.

Yulin 5 million t/y atomospheric crude unit and 1.8 million t/y FCC unit has completed and has come on stream. A 900,000 t/y gasoline refining unit and a 2 million diesel hydrotreating project is under construction and expected operate soon. As Yulin 150,000 t/y and 300,000 t/y continuous reforming unit, the main producing units of high octane gasoline blend component, failed to meet the requirements, a new 1 million t/y continuous reforming unit is urgently needed to realise the total material balance of the plant.
