Zachry wins contract for ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge chemical plant and refinery.

Zachry has been awarded a multi-year capital work contract for refining and petrochemical industry leader and Zachry customer, ExxonMobil, at their Baton Rouge Chemical Plant and Refinery Site. Zachry also holds ExxonMobil contracts at sites in Beaumont, Texas and Baytown, Texas. 

“We have an outstanding long-term relationship and partnership with ExxonMobil at many levels,” said Steve Brauer, President, Industrial Services Group for Zachry. “It is exciting to continue to grow our business together by servicing their needs in Baton Rouge. Our safe and productive work at various ExxonMobil sites is the result of an alignment of our cultures and a solid collaboration between our craft workers, site management and the ExxonMobil team.”

Zachry’s previous work with ExxonMobil at several site locations across Texas and Louisiana has led to greater plant efficiency and combined success. This additional site will expand Zachry’s presence in the Gulf Coast region, as they build on an excellent history in the industrial services industry.

Nearly 100 people have already mobilized on site, including incumbent employees, new craft workers and leadership. As an employer committed to the local workforce, Zachry is excited to grow in the area, hire regional talent and give back to the community.
