New multi-component accredited environmental testing mixtures available
Linde Germany has achieved accredited status to manufacture and supply multi component calibration gas mixture standards as ISO Guide 34 reference materials containing ppm levels of CO, NO and SO2 in a balance of nitrogen. This extension to their existing accreditation scope covers products supplied in typical cylinder sizes of 10 and 40 litres and covers mixtures with guaranteed stability for up to 36 months at relative uncertainty levels down to 0.8%.
The ISO Guide 34 accreditation was awarded and certified by DAkkS, the new national accreditation body for Germany. As part of the accreditation, the mixtures are directly traceable to the SI units of measure with analytical validation provided by the VSL in the Netherlands, one of the world's premier laboratories for gaseous reference materials.
These calibration gas mixtures are in demand worldwide for environmental testing, such as measurement of air quality and control of gaseous emissions in applications where the highest levels of precision, measurement certainty and metrological are required. And, the benefits of the new multi-component mixtures will be time saving of fewer calibration events, convenience of handling fewer cylinders and the confidence of more reliable calibration with minimal risk of matrix interference effects.
