PMFG Inc awarded $4.1M separation/filtration systems order

PMFG, Inc announced that it has been awarded a contract with a value of approximately $4.1 million for separation equipment. The equipment is for LNG applications in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. The project consists of multiple units of the Company's proprietary Ultra® filter/separators to be used in compressor station protection and liquefaction processes. The revenue will be recognized across both fiscal years 2013 and 2014.

Peter J. Burlage, PMFG's chief executive officer said, "This order demonstrates the growing impact the domestic natural gas industry is having on our business and is one of our key markets. Our products are used across the natural gas value chain including production, processing, storage, transmission and end users. We expect emerging applications such as natural gas as a transportation fuel and LNG for both export and domestic use to drive incremental demand for our products. This is in addition to the growing use of natural gas as a base load fuel source by utilities and other industrial sectors including the chemical and pulp and paper industries."
