Gunvor awarded Rosneft products tender

Gunvor Group has signed a contract with JSC Rosneft, under which it will export oil products from the Samara group of refineries (Kuibyshev, Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran) through its terminals, the 100 percent owned Ust-Luga terminal (Baltic Sea) and the 50 percent owned Novorossiysk terminal (Black Sea).

The one-year contract of approximately 6 million tons has been awarded following a tender held by JSC Rosneft. Gunvor submitted a package proposal, which includes procurement services, transportation and transshipment of oil products. Transoil will supply the railway transportation between the refineries and terminals.

This is a landmark deal, whereby Russia’s largest oil company will be able to take advantage the country’s most cost-efficient export facilities, which have been created by Gunvor Group.
