Intergraph ranks No.1 overall engineering design solution provider for the 6th consecutive year
ARC Advisory Group, the leading research and advisory firm for industry and infrastructure, ranks Intergraph® as the No. 1 overall engineering design solution provider for industry based on revenues for the sixth consecutive year in its newest release of “Engineering Design Tools for Industry and Infrastructure Worldwide Outlook,” which was first released in 2006.
Intergraph tops the rankings in three of five segments in which it competes – oil and gas, chemical and power – in ARC Advisory Group’s “Industry” category devoted to technology used in the design, construction and operation of process, power and discrete manufacturing plants, as well as the shipbuilding and marine industries. Intergraph is the only engineering design solution provider ranked No. 1 in more than one industrial market segment.
Intergraph leads all direct competitors globally, and also leads all direct competitors in each of the four geographic regions analyzed by ARC Advisory Group: Asia, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Latin America and North America.
The scope of ARC’s Engineering Design Tools study encompasses two design solution market domains: engineering design for projects in Industry and engineering design for projects in Infrastructure. Intergraph and its top competitor are primarily involved in the Industry portion of the engineering design tools market, while many other survey participants are active in both the Industry and Infrastructure portions of the broader design market.
