Haldor Topsoe China's refinery technology and catalyst seminar was held in Yishui, Shandong province

On 23rd-25th, Haldor Topsoe China's Refinery Technology and Catalyst Seminar was held in YiShui, Shandong. More than 100 people participated in the seminar. Topsoe Chinese refinery department, headed by Mr. Per Bakkerud, YiShui government leaders, headed by Mr.Yang Yuantian and representatives from Chemchina and Sinochem joined the seminar together with management level and technical chief from more than 40 refineries in Shandong, Gansu and Henan provinces.

At present, Shandong province boasts the biggest refining capacity in China and the trend is still growing. Lots of grassroot and revamp projects will be put into operating in recent 5 years. These local refineries fully understand the benefits from the advanced technology and catalyst, and show great interest to Topsoe's technology and catalyst solutions.

The seminar focused on in-depth introduction on Euro V diesel production, coking naphtha, FCC Pretreatment and hydrocracking technology and catalyst, and also discussed H2 plant and FCC flue gas DeNOx technologies.

All the participants had good impressions of the seminar, so we may hold another one next year.
