Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million energy-efficiency order in South Korea

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has received an order for Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers from a refinery in South Korea. The order value is about SEK 60 million and delivery is scheduled for 2013.

The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in the production of mixed Xylenes used for PET bottles, among other things.

“This is the second order in a short time for our Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to the refinery industry in South Korea”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “It proves our ability to meet the high demands for energy efficient products in the refinery business.”
