Neste Oil's diesel line 4 at Porvoo shut down for maintenance

Following an unexpected production incident on diesel line 4 at Neste Oil's Porvoo refinery, the line has been shut down. Maintenance work originally scheduled for the fall will be carried out during the outage, and the line is expected to be back on-stream in the second half of July. The maintenance shutdown will have a negative impact on the Oil Products segment's second-quarter result. Neste Oil's guidance for its overall 2012 result, given in the interim report for the first quarter, remains unchanged, however: Oil Products' full-year comparable operating profit is expected to improve compared to 2011, assuming that Neste Oil's reference refining margin remains at last year's level. Neste Oil currently plans to carry out its next scheduled maintenance turnaround on the line in spring 2013.
