New Aveva enterprise resource management suite offers optimised project performance
AVEVA today announced the release of an exciting new software product family for the marine and EPC market, AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. Comprising the products AVEVA Material, AVEVA Planning and AVEVA Production, the application suite supports the entire project management and execution process. Shipyards and EPCs will benefit from lower material and production/construction costs through improved project efficiency, shortening timescales and increasing project quality and control.
“AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management combines the proven plant and marine capabilities of world-recognised products AVEVA VPRM and AVEVA MARS”, said Lars Riisberg, Vice President, Enterprise Resource Management, AVEVA. “By bringing together the best of these technologies, including the ability to manage multiple projects within a much larger programme, we are helping our customers dramatically enhance their business performance. AVEVA has built its reputation on delivering innovative software solutions in the marine and plant markets and is creating a new generation of applications that offer even greater project management efficiencies.”
“AVEVA is in an unrivalled position to combine the valuable experience gained in both plant and marine environments to offer global organisations a unique, world-class solution for the project management and execution process”, added Derek Middlemas, COO and Head of Enterprise Solutions, AVEVA. “While the marine industry has benefited from an integrated material, cost, planning and production management solution for many years with AVEVA MARS, the new AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management solution will be game changing in the plant world. Existing customers can be assured that both AVEVA MARS and AVEVA VPRM will continue to be fully supported. However, we are confident that our customers will be keen to turn towards this new integrated Enterprise Resource Management solution.”
