Applied Instrument Technologies renews ISO 9001 certification

Applied Instrument Technologies (AIT), a leading manufacturer of process analyzers for the refining, petrochemical, chemical, steel, biotechnology and emissions markets has renewed its ISO 9001:2008 certification. For AIT, the renewal of ISO 9001 certification, the most widely recognized international standard for quality management systems, was a priority in continuing their leadership position in process analytical instrumentation.
 
"After leveraging AIT as a stand-alone corporation in late 2010 and moving into a new facility, AIT continues to emphasize the importance of quality processes through this renewal of our ISO 9001 certification," said Joe LaConte, President of AIT. "Securing our position as a leading provider of high quality instruments with outstanding customer service is imperative. This Certificate of Registration clearly demonstrates our commitment to continually improving our quality management systems in order to meet the needs of the evolving markets for process analytical technologies."
 
AIT renewed its ISO 9001:2008 with a different registrar, National Quality Assurance, an accredited registrar that performs assessments of management systems against requirements of national and international standards for quality. NQA, USA was chosen because of its broad industrial and manufacturing expertise.
 
"Our customers require real-time multi-component data from our products around the clock," said Rose Wick, Manager of Quality Assurance. "In addition, ISO 9001 provides the critical link to keeping continuity with our hazardous area product certifications for use in global markets."
