TATNEFT recognized as the best company in Tatarstan for invention and rationalization

OAO TATNEFT was named a winner in the group of chemical, petrochemical and oil industry enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan based on the results of a review contest for the best organization of invention, rationalization and patent and licensing work arranged by the Society of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The aims of the republican contest include development and intensification of the mass invention and innovation movement, as well as promotion of scientific and technical creativity in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The honorary title of the "Best Enterprise of Invention and Rationalization in 2011" with the award of the Big Cup and the Diploma of the National Society of Inventors and Innovators was conferred to TATNEFT for the ninth time for high rates of innovation.

11,125 inventions, utility models and rationalization proposals were introduced into production in OAO TATNEFT and the Company received 213 patents for inventions and utility models in 2011.

The largest economic benefit from the use of intellectual property and innovations was received at the Oil and Gas Production Boards "Almetyevneft", "Elkhovneft" and "Aznakaevskneft".
