Topsoe will sponsor top talent from Dalian National Laboratory, China
Dr. Jesper Nerlov, Executive Vice President from Topsoe visited Dalian National Laboratory for Clean Energy (DNL) on 9-10 Februaary 2012, as a follow up of his last visit in December 2011.
During this visit, Dr. Jesper Nerlov discussed with Prof. Can LI, Dr. Qing XU from DNL about the establishment of a DNL-Haldor Topsøe Ph.D. student scholarship programme starting this year. Extensive discussions and exchanges were carried out between Dr. Jesper Nerlov and DNL representatives on program description, selection criteria and application procedures.
This program is created to support young talents DNL in the form of personal grants and travel expenses awarded to selected Ph.D. students.
Both parties agreed that the scholarship programme will be initiated within year 2012.
"Topsoe has positive experiences with this type of scholarship programme and we definitely hope this programme with DNL will also lead to a win-win situation," says Dr. Jesper Nerlov, Executive Vice President, Topsoe.
During the discussions, Dr. Jesper Nerlov also exchanged ideas with DNL about possible cooperation in student and researcher exchange and collaboration in joint research projects.
