Exterran selected to design, manufacture and construct Gas Processing plant in Eagle Ford

Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, L.P. has selected Exterran to design, manufacture and construct a natural gas processing plant in South Texas. The project includes engineering, procurement and construction of a cryogenic gas processing plant with a capacity of 150 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day produced from the Eagle Ford shale.

“Exterran was selected because of our ability to provide a single source for product integration, project management and efficient delivery, installation and startup,” said Exterran President and CEO Brad Childers. “Our capacity to quickly deliver high-quality compression, processing and treating and production equipment is helping our customers meet the strong demand for natural gas liquids production in the region.”

It is expected that the equipment designed, fabricated and installed by Exterran will be capable of achieving up to 93 percent ethane extraction.
Exterran and its predecessor companies have approximately four decades of experience in the design, engineering, fabrication, installation and safe maintenance of gas processing facilities and have completed more than 300 of these facilities worldwide.
