New managing director at topsoe’s representative office in Moscow

As of 1 January 2012, Jens Perregaard will take up the position as Managing Director for Haldor Topsoe’s Moscow representative office and for ZAO Topsoe. Jens Perregaard succeeds Andrés García-Romero, who now retires after a long and fruitful career with Topsoe in Denmark and abroad – the last 17 years as head of Haldor Topsoe Moscow.

"As Managing Director for Topsoe’s representative office in Moscow, Andrés García-Romero has made a major contribution to Topsoe’s business in Russia. Andrés García-Romero’s efforts to strengthen Topsoe’s Russian relations have positioned Topsoe as a significant player in Russia," says CEO Bjerne S. Clausen.

Andrés García-Romero’s successor Jens Perregaard has extensive experience with Topsoe’s business areas, markets and clients based on 17 years working at Topsoe. Jens Perregaard holds a Ph.D. and has a background in business development both from a technology as well as a client point of view.

While at Topsoe, Jens Perregaard has travelled to Russia on a regular basis, first collaborating with Russian partners on various Research and Development projects, and later promoting Topsoe’s new technologies, which will play an important role in the Russian industry and environmental efforts in the coming years.
